Adison & Aaron | JLH Wedding Barn

Addi first messaged me back in 2014 when she was just a senior in high school wanting to know more about photography. Since then we’ve been loyal social media friends, so I had my fingers crossed when I saw that she was engaged. When she reached out, I did the happiest of happy dances because we FINALLY got to hang out and be friends not just on any day, but her WEDDING day. It’s seriously the biggest honor I can ask for when another photographer trusts me with their photos, and I’m so thankful that she did because it was the greatest day. I sobbed during their father daughter dance and I’m pretty sure Addi’s mom and I hugged every 15 minutes. Also, can I just share what Adison wrote about me after her big day? I still tear up reading it. Love you, sweet friend!!

“At the end of the day, after the cake has been cut, the songs have ended, the vows have been said, and you've kissed your groom/bride, there's one way that these memories are preserved: photographs. Kayla was the one and only photographer I inquired about for our wedding day. I didn't need to explore my options because I knew Kayla would be the one for the job. Not only does she take original, raw, one of a kind images, but she is DARN good at it! She makes you feel relaxed and never do you get the impression of being "too posey." You know, like the awkward-school-photo posey. She communicates well and not once did she ask me, "What do you want to do?" I didn't have to worry about a thing for our big day because Kayla had already taken care of or thought about it. SO if you're looking for someone to take the weight off your shoulders and have a stress free day, no need to look any further. Kayla is your gal.”
